### Enable Jira Comments Panel

Controls whether the Jira comments panel is visible in the Zoho Desk ticket view.

* When enabled, Jira issue comments will be rendered inside Zoho Desk.
* When disabled, the panel will show: *"This panel has been disabled by your Jira administrator."*

### Comment Privacy Filter

Determines which Jira comments are displayed for **Jira Service Management** tickets based on their privacy level:

* **All** – Displays both public and internal comments.
* **Public** – Displays only public comments.
* **Internal** – Displays only internal comments.

For other Jira project types, all comments are shown and this setting is ignored.

### Comment Tag Filter

Allows filtering of Jira comments by tags included in the comment body.

* Enter a space-separated list of tags (e.g., `#zoho #jira-service-desk`).
* If configured, only Jira comments containing at least one of the specified tags will be displayed in Zoho Desk.
* If left empty, no tag filtering is applied.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.mybytes.tech/zoho-desk/jira-connector-for-zoho-desk/administrator-guide/configure-jira-comments-panel.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
