# Jira Connector Left Panel

We’re excited to announce the **Jira Connector Left Panel**, that enhances the Jira integration experience.

This panel replaces the previous interface and brings **all existing features** from the earlier version, **plus new capabilities** designed to boost productivity and collaboration.

The new **Jira Connector Left Panel** retains all the functionality described in [Using the add on](/zoho-desk/jira-connector-for-zoho-desk/user-guide/using-the-add-on.md), including:

* Viewing linked Jira issues
* Creating new Jira issues
* Link existing Jira issues
* Real-time issue syncing
* Push/Pull features

### New: Review Fields before Creating Issues

We’ve added a major enhancement: **Review Fields**, which allows you to preview and customize issue fields before creation.

With **Review Fields**, you can:

* Modify field values before creating a Jira issue.
* Select and fill in mandatory fields.
* Preview all values and ensure accuracy before issue creation.

To check and use **Review Fields** before creating a Jira issue:

1. **Click** *Create Issue* in the Jira panel.\
 \
 ![](/files/b8yzTsbPb1EtwLR8M3QN)
2. **Select** the Jira **project** and **issue type**.
3. **Click** *Review Fields* to preview and fill in required fields before submission.\

4. **Click** *Create Issue* when you're finished.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.mybytes.tech/zoho-desk/jira-connector-for-zoho-desk/user-guide/jira-connector-left-panel.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
