Enable Attachment Synchronization

The attachment sync feature allows synchronization of file attachments between Jira and Zoho Desk. Administrators can enable attachment sync in the Connection Settings to allow attachments to be transferred from Jira to Zoho Desk and vice versa.

Follow these steps below:

1. Configure Jira Connector for Zoho Desk (Companion app)

Make sure that Connection is configured as per Getting Started page

2. Ensure that you are on the latest version of the Jira Connector for Zoho Desk (Companion app)

Navigate to the Jira Extension for Zoho Desk app in the Marketplace. Check if the Update button is visible in the top right corner. If the button is not present, you are already on the latest version. If the button is available, proceed to update to the latest version.

3. Ensure that Auto Sync is enabled in the Zoho Desk Companion app

4. Navigate to Jira and enable the options in the Connection Settings

Please take note that:

  1. Attachment larger than 20MB can not be synced due to Zoho's file size limit.

  2. Only up to 100 attachments can be synced

  3. Attachment sync follows the Association Auto-Sync setting. If association auto-sync is turned off, attachments will not be be synced.
