Asana for Confluence provide two types of connection:

  • Each user login with their own Asana account

  • Centralised Asana account

In order to configure connection types, click Configure on the Manage apps page.

Each user login with their own Asana account

In the Configure Page, select the first option for each Confluence user to login with their own account.

Centralised Asana account

To configure a centralised service account, login by clicking Setup Asana Connection with a Service Account.

A new window will pop up. Enter your login details and proceed to Allow permission.

Select the second option after you are authenticated.

Manage Connection Permissions

You can limit users that can access the centralised connection.

Please take a look at Configure Connection Permissions.
